The Montville (Connecticut) Water Pollution Control Facility uses six sequencing batch reactors to treat its wastewater. The influent flows have significantly higher loading than average due to industrial users from a paper plant and also a nearby casino.

For that reason, the facility needs much more air than the average wastewater treatment plant. In the video below, Atlas Copco meets with Montville Water Pollution Control Facility Superintendent Derek Albertson to discuss how Atlas Copco's ZB VSD+ blower fit the aeration needs of the facility.
